Emily was born on the 24th May 1988 she was my little sister. I was turning 4 when she was born. I was really looking forward to getting a sister.
What my mum told me Emily was a very happy baby girl. She never cried during the nights and always had a smile on her face.
On the 7th July 1988 my mum put Emily down for a nap and when she was going to wake Emily up as she was going to have some food, Emily had fell asleep in her sleep.
They did a post mortem and they said she died due to SIDS.
I dont know much about her, but I do know that I was very proud of being a big brother to my gorgeous little baby sister.
She meant the world to me and she still does.
Love you so much Emily and I do hope you are having lots of fun in heaven with Daniel.

The strength of this cord, it's hard to describe.
it can't be destroyed, it can't be denied.
It's stronger than any cord, man could create,
it withstands the tests, can hold any weight.
And though you are gone, not here with me,
the cord is still there, but no one can see.
It pulls at my heart, I am bruised....I am sore,
but this cord is my lifeline, as never before.
I am thankful that God connected this way,
a mother and a child, death can't take it away!

A heart of gold stopped beating two shining eyes at rest, god broke our hearts to prove he only takes the best, god knows you had to leave us, but you did not go a lone for part of us went with you the day he took you home to some you are forgotten to others just a part of the past but to us who have loved and lost you the memory will always last.
